Rounding out the scoring, Colin McKinney, LaVencent Wren, and Braxton Kukulski each chipped in 3 points, and Giovanni Terry added 2 to complete a well-balanced team effort.
On the defensive end, Lake Red set the tone early and never let up. Kellen Maybin, Luke Johnston, Gregory Hemm, Zane Tanner, and Chris Humphrey anchored a stifling defensive unit that held South Belton to single digits.
The Lake Silver basketball team delivered a commanding performance on Tuesday night, rolling past South Belton with an emphatic 46–6 victory. From the opening tip, Lake controlled the pace, executed on both ends of the floor, and showcased the depth of its roster.
Offensively, the Broncos were led by Felix Gomez, who poured in 12 points to set the tone. Anders Phillips followed closely with 10 points, while Jace Moon added 9 in a strong all-around effort. Kevin Saunders, Samuel Martinez, and Jonathan Dwyer each contributed 4 points, Jadrien Torres chipped in 2, and Bowen Williams rounded out the scoring with 1 point.
On the defensive end, Lake Silver was equally dominant. Kingston Cory, Brody Rosenbaum, Jace Moon, Anders Phillips, and Bowen Williams all turned in standout performances, applying constant pressure and limiting South Belton’s opportunities throughout the game.
The Broncos return to action on Thursday, December 18, when they take on Belton Middle School.
